History & Background
Miller Peart was originally established in 1991 under the trading name of Crawford and Co. Roderick Miller joined in 1992 as a partner and Michael Peart likewise in 1995.Michael Peart retired from the practice in 2004.

The Practice
Miller Peart is a Hong Kong Based law firm representing the needs of clients both locally and internationally. Our range of expertise enables us to provide advice to a broad sector of clients in Hong Kong, throughout Asia, Europe, Australia and the USA .We aim to provide speedy, personal, first class, cost effective advice and guidance to our clients, whose interests are paramount at all times.

Rod Miller has considerable experience in the Sports and Entertainment fields.He was instrumental in organizing and advising the promoters for the 2003 Asian Tour of Real Madrid where David Beckham played his first game for the team in Beijing. The tour was an incredible success.Rod has also acted and promoted such acts as David Copperfield in Asia and China, Bon Jovi,Bryan Adams, Warner Bros on Ice and many more.

The firm have successfully concluded litigation against the Hong Kong Government on behalf of a Clan of indigenous villagers in a battle over their ancestral temple This required a unique knowledge of the nexus between Chinese Customary Law and English Common Law and resulted in an award of around HK$300 million (USD38 million).This was fought all the way to the Court of Final Appeal in Hong Kong.

Rod Miller was born and bred in Hong Kong and has worked in the Asia-Pacific Region for the past 16 years.
